End of July Specials

Being Relaxed and Lazy

Homemade ice creamOur Kansas weather has been hot most of the month, but the last few days have been cloudy, cooler and actually pleasant outside. It just made me want to skip work and do other things – so I did (and so this email is a few days late).

My weekend ended with the 45th Annual old fashioned ice cream social and band concert at the local Assaria church last night. What a nice evening to sit outside and enjoy cool air and fresh ice cream.

The area nursing home brought two bus loads of residents to evening the activities too. It was just a nice break to see people of all ages enjoy the pleasant July evening.
