My Kindle Books

One of my book series just became available for Kindle this week!

Most people signed up for this newsletter through my website, www.BisonFarm.com because they are interested in our bison, or buffalo products.

But before we started raiTrial of Thread now on Kindlesing buffalo, I wrote ten books about Kansas pioneers. Now I’m getting them formatted for ebooks and the first three have become available as ebooks.

If you buy books for Kindle, please be sure to add my ebooks to your “must download and read list”.

Written in the form of letters, these books describe the journeys and homesteading days of my ancestors as they started a new life on the Kansas prairie.

They are easy and fascinating reading about the start of Kansas and what it was like for the early pioneers to settle here.

Trail of Thread starts this series with my Pieratt family ancestors’ journey from Kentucky to the Territory of Kansas in 1854.

is about my widowed great aunt, Margaret Ralston Kennedy, who moved with eight of her thirteen from Ohio to Kansas in 1855. They were involved with the Underground Railroad during the “Bleeding Kansas” era.

The last book, Stitch of Courage is about my great-great grandmother Maggie Kennedy who married James Pieratt in 1864 during the Civil War.

Think of all the changes from 1854 to now…

Walking along side a wagon versus riding in an air-conditioned RV.
Homemade lye soap to antibactical soap.
Campfire cooking to microwave.
Printed books to ebooks.

If you like historical novels, anything about Civil War, homesteading, or quilting, please be sure to be some of the first to order my ebooks.

We’re working on releasing more of them soon, so check back into my Butterfield Books website or Amazon to keep reading my books! (Just type “Linda K. Hubalek” into Amazon.com.)
