Our Thanksgiving

I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and holiday weekend. Verne and I flew into Washington DC Thursday morning and spent the holiday seeing family that live in the area.
It was fun to visit memorials and places like Mt. Vernon, (and we even toured a Whole Foods store), but it sure was nice to get back on our simple single lane gravel roads. Traffic was stressful to me…and I wasn’t even driving. I’m definitely a country gal at heart.
