Orange isn’t your only choice in our Pumpkin Patch!
You can choose red, pink, white, yellow, gray, green, striped…
Our u-pick pumpkin fields features over 76 varieties of unusual pumpkins, gourds and squashes, besides the classic Halloween favorites. We plant the newest released varieties, so you'll be the first to have them in your neighborhood when you pick from our fields. We have two horticulturists on staff to help and answer your questions too.
The fields are open every day in the fall, until the buffalo take them over in mid November to relish the remaining pumpkins.
And if you don't want to walk out to the fields, we have plenty of pumpkins in displays around the Visitors Center to choose from. We're open every day, so stop by anytime to buy pumpkins.
Prices are simple, so just bring some pocket change or your credit card, and haul home a load of pumpkins to decorate your home or office. We have the clippers, wagons, and manpower to help you pick out your pumpkins and load up.
Each child that visits the farm during their school field trip picks out a pumpkin or gourd to bring home too.
Two pumpkins, one weighing over 1000 lbs from Newton, KS was smashed by vandals the week before the 2007 contest, so the first ever 1000 lb pumpkin grown in Kansas was not recorded at our official Kansas contest.
